Endangered & Threatened Species on the Refuge: Red-cockaded Woodpecker (100 groups)

Other Wildlife Species: White-tailed deer, turkey, fox squirrel, Bachman's sparrow, brown-headed nuthatch, wood duck

Habitat Description: Longleaf pine with wiregrass.

Focus Activities: Longleaf pine ecosystem management with special emphasis on red-cockaded woodpecker.

Opportunities for Public Use: Hiking trails (2), hunting, fishing, bird watching, picnicking (3 shelters & numerous tables), 8 mile paved Wildlife Drive.
