Center Hill Lake
Center Hill Lake Located in the Cumberland Mountains of middle Tennessee, this lake offers excellent smallmouth bass, walleye, and white bass fishing. Deep, clear water provides recreationists a beautiful setting for nearly any activity. Fancher and Burgess Falls provide beautiful scenic views. Bluffs and steep, forested hillsides enrich the natural beauty of the lake. From Nashville, 50 miles E on I-40 to Center Hill exit, 6 miles S on TN 141.

Cheatham Lake
This project passes through Middle Tennessee and features a 2,700-acre waterfowl refuge and game management area. The lake meanders through Nashville and past Opryland. Fort Nashboro and Riverfront Park overlook the lake in downtown Nashville. Excellent waterfowl hunting and lunker bass await the sportsman. From Nashville, 32 miles W on TN 12.

Cordell Hull Lake
Located at the base of the Highland Rim of middle Tennessee, the lake boasts modern campgrounds and day use areas, opportunities for hunters and fishermen, and trails for hikers, backpackers, and horseback riders. Canoeing is excellent on the Roaring River section of the lake. There is excellent small game and deer hunting in season. From Nashville, E on I-40, N on TN 43 to Carthage.

Dale Hollow Lake
Located in the Highland Rim section of northern Tennessee and southern Kentucky, Dale Hollow's crystalline waters are ideal for virtually all water sports, including scuba diving. Houseboaters also find a haven in the clear waters and secluded coves. A Federal fish hatchery and Standing Stone State Park are nearby. From Nashville, 70 miles E on I-40 to Cookville, 20 miles N on TN 42 to Livingston, 19 miles N on TN 52.

J. Percy Priest Lake
Located near metropolitan Nashville, good fishing is enhanced by rockfish stocked by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, providing anglers with excellent opportunity. Multipurpose recreation areas dot the shoreline, offering good access and recreational enjoyment. A panoramic view of the lake can be enjoyed from the visitor center near the dam. From Nashville, 5 miles E on I-40 to Stewarts Ferry Pike exit, right on Stewarts Ferry Pike, left on Bell Rd.

Lake Barkley
Bordering TVA's Land Between the Lakes Rec Area in the rolling hills of southwest Kentucky and north central Tennessee, this lake offers waterfowl hunting, fishing, nature trails, a national battlefield, and a national waterfowl refuge. From Louisville, S on I-65 to Western Kentucky Parkway, 13 miles W on US 62 through Eddyville.

Old Hickory Lake
This extensively developed lake is located northeast of Nashville. Sailing and yachting are popular and numerous regattas are held on the lake. The Old Hickory Nature Trail, a part of the National Trails System, provides interesting features for all age groups. From Nashville, N on I-65 to Madison exit, E on TN 45 to the lake.
