Arches National Park
Camping
The Devils Garden Campground is located eighteen miles from the park entrance and is open year-round. It is the only campground in Arches and offers easy access to Devils Garden Trail, the most arch-laden hike in the park.
There are 50 tent and trailer sites at the campground. Campground facilities include potable water, tables, grills and flush toilets. There are no showers.
Individual campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis only.
During peak season (mid-March to late October), getting a campsite can be somewhat of a free-for-all. You must pre-register for individual campsites at the Arches Visitor Center
between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., or at the entrance station after 8:00 a.m. The campground usually fills by 9 a.m. Fee in peak season is $10 per night.
From late October to mid-March, the fee is $5 per night. The water is turned off, but pit toilets are available.
Bring your own wood or charcoal for the grills. Some sites will accommodate RV's up to 30 feet in length.
Group Sites
Two group sites are available within the Devils Garden campground. These sites may be reserved in advance for groups of eleven or more people. The Juniper Basin campsite will accommodate up to fifty-five people; the Canyon Wren campsite up to thirty-five. The group camping
fee is $3 per person per night, with a $33 per night minimum.
No recreational vehicles or trailers are permitted in the group sites.
Reservations for group campsites are accepted beginning on the first business day of January for the following calendar year. Reservations are accepted by mail or fax, and must be received at least two weeks in advance of a trip. You will receive a mailed response.
