Black Hills National Forest
Getting There

Rapid City, South Dakota is the transportation hub for the Black Hills National Forest. Major airlines and bus routes serve Rapid City. U.S. Interstate 90 is the major east/west road for the area. U.S. 85/385 serves as the north/south connector to the rest of the world. U.S. Highway 16 runs east/west through the forest between Newcastle, Wyoming and Highway 385.
