Curlew National Grassland - Located west of Malad 16 miles on Highway 37. The grasslands cover 47,600 acres and were originally established to improve soil and vegetation, and to promote agriculture.

Stone Reservoir - Located on the Curlew National Grassland. Motorized boats are allowed on the reservoir.

Hudspeth Cutoff Trail - The Hudspeth cuts off from the Oregon Trail near Alexander, Idaho and crosses the Curlew National Grasslands on its way to the Pacific northwest. Oxford Mountain - Elevation 9,282, Oxford Mountain is located 9 miles south of Downey.

Elkhorn Mountain - Elevation 9,095, Elkhorn Mountain is located 6 miles west of Interstate 15 at Malad Summit.

Gunsight Peak - Elevation 8, 244, Gunsight Peak is located south of the Utah border in the Clarkston Mountain Range and west of the town of Clarkston.

Standing Rock - Located 5 miles west of Weston, Idaho along the road to the Forest boundary.

Wright's Creek Trail - Running north and south for 12 miles in the Elkhorn Mountain Range from Summit Campground to Wright's Creek. This National Recreation Trail is a"no charge" scenic route open to all recreational uses and activities.
