Kruger National Park has at least one accessible hut and cottage at a number of camps, contact the National Parks Board or Eco-Access for further information At Berg-en-Dal Camp, one of the accessible camps, there is a 600 m tactile trait with a gravel path which is wheelchair-accessible with a bit of help.
Emfuleni Lodge, near Klaserie and the Kruger National Park, has accessible rooms and a swimming pool. You can do vehicle-based safaris into the park from here. The Cheetah Project at Hoedspruit is wheelchair-accessible. The Elephant Expedition at Xudum in the Okavango Delta would be a wonderful experience for blind people as you can touch and communicate with the elephants.
Ndabushe Wildlife Sanctuary, very close to Johannesburg, has a number of antelope such as bushbuck, impala and springbok. They have sand roads which are wheelchair-navigable with help. They have wheelchair-friendly toilets and are planning an accessible chalet.
Wilderness Wheels Africa have a land cruiser with a lift for wheelchairs accessible tents, toilets and showers, and operate four-day safaris to the Kruger Park, ten-day safaris to Botswana and Zimbabwe as well as tailor-made safaris.
