* Class 4
* Steep, Snow (Seasonal)
* From Summit Lake Trailhead:
2.0 miles, 1,420 feet

This mixed tour provides a sensuous snow slope capped by a rock challenge. Climb southwest from the east end of Summit Lake into the Summit Lake Bowl, below Evans' northwest face. Diamond ascends the snow slope west of the first large rock buttress 0.2 mile west of the summit. The route is west of the North Face Route and you may spot ski tracks on it in June. Climb the sweet, steepening snow until it ends below cliffs. Stay east (left) of some steep rock and climb two Class 4 pitches to reach Evans' west ridge just east of Point 14,256.
