Head to Lookout Mountain and take flight over the foothills of the Appalachians. Lookout Mountain lies on the southern tip of the Cumberland Plateau, near the Georgia-Tennessee border, and with its flat sandstone top, offers perfect takeoff points for hang gliders. The scenery below is a conglomeration of patchwork farms interspersed with random woodlands. Take a sunset tour and feel the evening winds propel you over northern Georgia as the setting sun turns the landscape below you into gold and orange hues.
