GORP Guests
Mark D. Williams - Writer, Photographer, and Flyfishing Expert
GORP Guest from January 9 to January 30, 1998
Mark D. Williams
Outdoor writer Mark D. Williams has fished hundreds of streams and lakes across America in search of trout. In the process he has written numerous articles for fishing magazines and compiled an amazing database of trout angling information. The aggregate of that experience is seamlessly formatted into a 488-page book, The Trout Fishing Sourcebook, which is now being hailed as the definitive source for trout fishing opportunities across the United States.
Visit excerpts from the The Trout Fishing Sourcebook:
Williams, who hails from Texas, fishes over 100 days a year and is fortunate enough to have a wife who not only lets him, but gladly joins him on the stream and writes travel articles and books herself. The couple is currently co-writing two books, Top 100 Mountain Vacations of North America, and Top 100 Island Vacations of North America.
GORP has been pleased to present an excerpt from The Trout Fishing Sourcebook every month through 1997, and we are thrilled that Mark agreed to serve as a guest for three weeks. He answered questions and offered tips in the Mark Williams thread of GORP's Fishing Forums. Mark continues to share his flyfishing knowledge as GORP's Expert Angler.
