What to Pack: Fishing

Jorgen Wouters Outdoor writer and editor Jxrgen Wouters has fished for sunfish, perch, carp, small and largemouth bass, walleye, chain pickerel and northern pike, to name a few. Jxrgen was at one time a GORP editor responsible for bringing you GORP Fishing week in and week out.

These days, he fishes almost exclusively for trout with dry flies, and spends his weekends wading the streams of the Catskills and the Adirondaks in search of browns, rainbows and brookies. Following is his packing list for clothing and fly fishing gear appropriate for a day of casting.
