Orvis Bonefish Scrubs Supplex Casting Shirt
By Ted Alan Stedman

Orvis Bonefish Scrubs Supplex Casting Shirt
Despite its name, you don't have to be an angler to get hooked by the Bonefish Scrubs Casting Shirt, a fashionable, light shirt that's at home on the water, in town, or on the trail. The Scrubs uses Supplex fabric with an Intera finish that wicks moisture away and dries quickly, while resisting wrinkles and pesky stains.

I was skeptical of claims about the shirt's"bi-swing" ventilator mesh panels on the shoulder blades. But guess what? They work, and actually pump hot air out when your arms rotate during a normal walking gait. The roll-up sleeve tabs keep sleeves out of the way, and three bellowed front pockets are big enough — and I'm speaking from experience here — to hold a wallet, passport, box of fishing flies, sunglasses, and tube of sunblock. A front D-ring is there, too, to dangle any accessory of your liking.

If looking sharp ranks high on your list of priorities, you'll like the contrasting color trim on the bellows pockets and inside the collar. Come evening, the Bonefish Scrubs have the manners needed for most any cultural rendezvous. Available in men's sizes.

Price: $69
High mark: An all-in-one shirt with enough features for hikers, anglers, and boaters — with good looks to boot.
Low mark: Buttonhole stitching started to unravel.
