Jay Kinney is a San Francisco-based writer, artist, and editor. His work has appeared in a variety of publications, including Anarchy Comics, In These Times, Wired, and Gnosis. He is the co-author, with Richard Smoley, of Hidden Wisdom, recently published by Penguin/Arkana.

Paul Mavrides is best known for bludgeon-like proselytizing on behalf of the SubGenius Foundation, for his work with Gilbert Shelton on The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, and for paintings, graphics, and numerous comics. He is the art director and CG animator of Ron Mann's feature documentary Grass, set for release in the late spring of 2000.
