Skiing Park City

Colorado resort towns get off your high horse — Park City is a force to be reckoned with. Developed in the tradition of the big-money western resorts and catering to the annual influx of Hollywood stars converging for the Sundance Film Festival, Park City has all the glitter and amenities a ski vacationer could want. The nightlife rivals that of Sun Valley or Vail any day of the week. The restaurant options are endless and offer everything from steak to sushi. Upscale boutiques and galleries have cropped up all over town and offer plenty of opportunities to spend hard-earned dollars. As the icing on the cake, celebrity sightings are fairly commonplace in Park City.

Special Feature. . .

Powderhound Paradise - New dimensions to Utah's Park City, one of the premiere facilities in the U.S.

The skiable terrain is huge and varied, although expert terrain is not particularly plentiful, and the ticket prices are fairly steep. For those seeking some challenge, Jupiter Bowl offers nice lines and plenty of snow. For a ski vacation that offers a bit of everything for everyone, Park City is hard to beat.

Location: 27 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport.
