Nordic Valley is not typically considered a major threat to its neighboring ski resorts, but perhaps is should be. It has an amazing variety of terrain in a mere 100 skiable acres and the entire resort is open for night-time skiing and snowboarding. It is located 50 miles north of Salt Lake City and is another good choice for budget-minded families with small children.
